Overview
Eg Sshehg Cewlz was founded durring the early 10th century, by Dargurn Reblåz. The establishment of Eg Sshehg Cewlz was only bairly constructed. The sheer number of problems with its founding were enough to make several of the backers funding Eg Sshehg Cewlz's construction back out of the project. Dargurn Reblåz pushed on reguardles, and Eg Sshehg Cewlz was finished, but starts off as a terible place to live.
Eg Sshehg Cewlz was built using the conventions of Dwarvern durring the early 10th century. Naturaly, all settlmentss have their own look to them, and Eg Sshehg Cewlz is no diffrent. The town's buildings feature waddle and daub construction with good timber frames and a stone foundation protected by thatched or shingled rooves. Most buildings with second floors are built in such a way as to overhang into the streets on the upper floors for more space, as building size seems to be the primary indicator of wealth within the community. Most buildings are not decorated with any integral features, but instead use ivy, flowers, and other natural elements in planters of on trellices to breathe life into the structure they grow upon.
Eg Sshehg Cewlz is is constructed arround a series of spacious paverstone mainstreets which form concentric circles, with smaller strait roads linking the circiles to each other at varrious points. The town is the proud owner of a thick set of fortified walls fashioned from querried stone blocks. While not up to snuff for a fort or castle wall, the town's walls are naturaly much larger than those of forts or castles. Therefore, the construction such a wall is most expencive. Eg Sshehg Cewlz's buget focused wall would serve its community well in battle in spite of looking unimpressive compared to castles and fortresses. The town's top tier civilian fortifications are visibly old, but also obviously well maintained. Its likly the local malishia or garrison are tasked with routine mantance of the town's defences.
Eg Sshehg Cewlz is not quite well. Something happened here, perhapse recently, perhapse long ago. Whatever it was, it settled into the very soul of the town like a festering wound. The people go about their day well enough, but there’s a tention in the air you can cut with a knife.

Points of Interest
Eg Sshehg Cewlz is centered around a major pilgrimage site. This may be a religious location of importance to a major faith, or it may be a more secular institution that draws the traffic, like a famous academy or the remains of some wondrous ancient work. Considerable local tension likely exists over controlling the access to the site and maximizing the profits from foreign visitors.
The center of Eg Sshehg Cewlz's town square was built around an ancient standing stone.

The details of the conflict are hazy at best due to many conflicting accounts. What is known is Eg Sshehg Cewlz lost 130 people, 320 livestock, and 49 buildings. The conflict ended after roughly 42, when members of Eg Sshehg Cewlz's militia enacted an operation to assassinate an enemy noble. The operation was complicated by major logistical problems. The conflict ended with pitched battle between both forces, which ended in defeat for Eg Sshehg Cewlz's forces. The war is remembered in legend by Eg Sshehg Cewlz's bards, historians, and legend keepers.
